Welcome to Simon’s Town Online.
Here you can find accommodation, local restaurants and businesses, outdoor activities and information on the area.
The small town of Simon’s Town is situated South of Cape Town, South Africa. It offers beautiful False Bay beaches and mountains extending from Cape Point to Table Mountain. The area is known for its world famous penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach, pelagic birdwatching off Miller’s Point to excellent yellowtail and tuna fishing.
Whilst the Southern Peninsula is still part of the Cape Town City Metropole, it is divided from the rest of the city by the Silvermine Mountains therefore giving the area it’s own unique sense of remoteness. Visiting Simon’s Town is a chance to be out in the fresh air, participating in the town’s ghost walk, playing golf at the Simon’s Town Country Club, hiking, mountain biking, quad riding, paddling, shark cage diving, the list is endless.
